NEVER: (NOT to bring or acquire during Troop outings)
Firearms, e.g., rifle, shotgun, pistol, BB gun, etc.
Bow and arrow (arrows made as part of the Archery merit badge are allowed)
Miscellaneous projectile items, e.g., paintball gun, slingshot, blowpipe, etc.
Fireworks
Laser pointers
Illegal drugs (prescribed / over-the-counter drugs must be given to the adult in charge)
Tobacco products (adults may have and use, but not in the presence of scouts)
Drinking alcohol (rubbing alcohol wipes, mouthwash, etc. are okay)
Immoral, illicit or controversial material or clothing
Animals, e.g., pet, stray, injured, wild, etc.
Skateboard, roller blades or skates
Axe, bow saw, pointed scissors, chainsaw or any other dangerous tools
Spray paint
Trapping equipment
Open-toe shoes, e.g., flip-flops (ONLY exception is for use in shower facilities)
Sheath knife (pocket / folding knife is okay, but scout must have a “Totin’ Chip” card)
RARELY: (check with the Scoutmaster for approval and guide lines)
CD / DVD / MP3 player
Video game
Cellular telephone
AM/FM radio
PDA, iPod, etc.

Comic book
Liquid / Compressed gas fuel
